Jackson Park Hospital is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator who is reliable and dependable with a great attitude.

The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for the inventory of all supply at the Hospital Nursing units.

Through the use of hospital provided tools, the Inventory Control Coordinator will assume ownership of General Stores inventory cycle counts.


  • Ensure inventory accuracy within all Nursing unit supply closets
  • Monitor and effectively work inventory management reports.
  • Oversee introduction of new items into storeroom.
  • Identify obsolete inventory and expiration's and determine how to best remove it.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated with a desire to succeed.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify and investigate inaccurate inventory counts.
  • Detail oriented, organized person who is adamant about accuracy.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
  • Confidence to uphold best practices within a Healthcare Supply Chain environment.
  • Focuses on needs of others, which includes cooperation with team members, helpfulness, responsiveness and service orientation.
  • Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate.
  • Understanding the flow of Supply into the General storeroom, onto the floor and out the door with the customer.
  • Dependability, which includes reliability and conscientiousness.

Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements for this position include the following: High School degree, some college preferred. Willingness to learn. General understanding of Healthcare inventory principles and experience within a Materials Management setting. Excellent quantitative and computer skills. Analytical and pricing knowledge with the ability to conduct comparison analysis. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel a plus. Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and willingness to work flexible hours.
