Description

The Media & Ad Ops Specialist's core role will be to traffic, schedule & maintain digital ad campaigns in our ad tech systems, and provide ad ops support as needed.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

creative QA and testing, campaign tag management, secure and provision audiences for campaigns, campaign set-up, troubleshooting, reporting and billing tasks, ad screenshots, post campaign wrap-up reports, product UAT.

The Media & Ad Ops Specialist will work closely with the digital trading team and is expected to provide superior customer service.

This position currently reports to Manager, Media Trading but works closely with several groups including Media Strategy/Planning, Digital Account Management, and Product Solutions to ensure that ad campaigns are set up to deliver the desired campaign goals and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that campaigns are set up to launch on time
  • Prelaunch campaign QA including testing of creative functionality/technical specifications and QA of thirdparty trackers to ensure accurate platform implementation
  • Provide technical QA support on ad serving as needed, and liaison with Platform Support & Eng team(s) if required
  • Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining ad specs, trafficking and workflow procedures for accounts
  • Provide screenshots and/or preview links when campaigns go live
  • Report on digital campaign performance and pacing as well as help with some billing needs
  • Build, and push audiences for campaign setup
  • Provide post campaign wrapup information
  • Partner with Product and Team leaders to provide new feature testing and feedback
  • Proactively identify process improvements for internal workflow and crosscollaboration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Math, or other related discipline
  • 13 years of Ad Operations or Ad Tech/Trafficking experience
  • Hands on experience with digital media ad servers
  • Digital Out of Home ad serving experience preferred
  • Supply side and demand side ad tech experience
  • Xandr DSP is a plus
  • Familiar with various online creative formats (e.g., HTML5, Javascript, Flash, Rich Media)
  • Intermediate skills in HTML, familiarity with web coding concepts preferred
  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Excel
