THE ROLE:
Order Processing Specialist, Software


Job Summary:


The Order Process Specialist is a specialized role responsible for accurate and timely entry of customer orders as well as post-sale quality checks on customer orders and sales orders.

The Order Process Specialist is an integral part of the internal sales team working in partnership to resolve any customer issues and ensure the accuracy of customer orders.


Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travel


Responsibilities:


  • Enter and process all outstanding customer purchase orders
  • Coordinate order processing requirements with sales and internal personnel,
  • Performs quality checks on critical items throughout the order entry process, including order entry accuracy, paperwork validation, and statements of work to identify terms or errors that may prevent or delay processing an order.
  • Evaluates customer contracts and other agreements to ensure that orders are processed in compliance with all agreedupon requirements
  • Coordinate with Quote Specialists and Logistics team for error resolution.
  • Conduct research and resolution around upstream errors to ensure that Presidio can collect on the order
  • Communicate effectively with necessary parties to ensure order detail and documentation are updated and appropriately entered into the system
  • Must have an understanding of backlog/invoicing to help resolve open inventory
  • Submit vendor expedite requests for backorder items as needed
  • Work with the internal operations team to resolve additional issues (customer satisfaction, RMA's/Returns. etc.) when necessary.
  • Review and decipher subscription lifecycle data for entry into native tools
  • Facilitate closure of open subscription orders fulfilled by vendor
  • Provide other ad hoc support to AM, Customers, and Presidio internal parties as needed
  • Participate in sales operations and finance meetings as required
  • Assist with New Hire onboarding support
  • Receives work direction from department leadership; however, is responsible for prioritizing his/her own work by sales allocation, date needed to fill, and logistics of work order
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Required Skills:


  • Basic understanding of revenue recognition principles
  • Proficiency in the English language and reading comprehension
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure/solutions manufacturers in the enterprise space
  • Strong comprehension of the operational progression of SaaS/Subscription offerings
  • Must have knowledge of the sales cycle process
  • Strong customer service skills with a continuous service orientation focus
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization
  • A drive for achievement and effort, attention to detail, adaptability/flexibility, analytical thinking, dependability, initiative, independence, integrity, persistence, selfcontrol, social orientation, and stress tolerance.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • 13+ years of experience working in a related field
