Job Summary:

Job Title: Store Director

FLSA Status: Salary

Responsible for overseeing and managing all store operations to drive sales, control expenses, and achieve targeted goals through effective leadership and resource management.

Job Description:

  • Maintain Festival's culture through leading by example and holding others accountable.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the store's operation including financial performance.
  • Observe and enforce store policies and make suggestions for policy improvements.
  • Plan, organize, and direct store activities with the support of Department Leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations while providing necessary training to associates.
  • Make informed decisions on operational matters to maximize results.
  • Train, motivate, and discipline associates as needed to improve performance.
  • Prepare and achieve sales, profit, and expense projections.
  • Manage schedules and control costs to meet budget targets.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of invoices and proper pricing of merchandise.
  • Minimize overstocks and understocks to optimize sales and inventory turnover.
  • Evaluate vendor promotions to enhance sales and customer traffic.
  • Report major maintenance issues promptly.
  • Oversee safety standards and sanitation guidelines compliance.
  • Enforce company policies on cash handling, check acceptance, and receiving procedures.
  • Ensure the store's security and asset protection at all times.
  • Adhere to attendance and schedule compliance.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferably five to seven years of experience with at least two years in a leadership role.
