Duties:


  • You will manage the timely execution of the strategic organizational plan for the mission, tasks and functions assigned to the branch.
  • You will develop and issue enterprisewide cyber resilience policy, requirements and standards.
  • You will engage in strategic, intermediate and longterm planning, coordination and implementation oversight of cybersecurity strategies to include Intelligence Community.
  • You will improve and align Cybersecurity planning to ensure resources are managed via the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • You will monitor, manage and advocate for prioritized cybersecurity requirements for major investments and initiatives with Navywide impact.
  • You will manage an aligned, engaged, and highperforming team though leading by example and developing and executing a missionaligned vision for the organization.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading cybersecurity and cyber resiliency investments, acquisition requirements generation, and validation and resource oversight of cyber resilience domain programs.
Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Briefing senior leadership in verbal and written correspondence. 2) Partnering with outside organizations and individuals to ensure a positive outcome on projects. 3) Thinking at the strategic level to develop cybersecurity guidance to assesses risk to communications networks and systems.

4) Demonstrating a background in acquisition and system development to understand how Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls integrate into system requirements.

5) Leading staff interaction with other stakeholders in a coordinated manner to advocate for Cybersecurity Requirements and implementation.

6) Utilizing knowledge of the Department of Defense (DOD) Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system to coordinate such processes to achieve fully justified, well-coordinated and balanced programs.- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.


Education:

There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level.

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
