_Summer RN Student Nurse Extern Program_ .
This program, is specifically designed to provide a unique educational opportunity to the rising _Senior RN Student Nurse_ who has a desire to participate in the acute care environment while still in nursing school.
Throughout the program the student nurse will learn about evidence-based standards that elevate nursing knowledge and skills to help provide optimal patient outcomes.
Our 10-week summer program includes a 2-hour weekly didactic/simulation/skills class with the majority of the student nurse's time spent in partnership with a St.
Upon successful completion of our program, student nurse externs may be offered per diem patient care assistant positions if they wish to stay on.
Requirements:
3.0 average
2 letters of recommendation from a clinical educator/Clinical Manager
