Description

• Assist CEO and CFO with development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall nonprofit mission.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Fielding of employee relations inquiries, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner
• Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Handle FMLA requests and other leave management processes
• Support talent management initiatives, including performance management and career development
• Assist with time keeping and payroll processing using Paychex Flex and/or ADP or similar software

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
• Knowledge of HR functions such as taxation, benefits administration, and employee relations
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and ATS platforms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
