    The Pilot School is looking for classroom teachers for the 24-25 school year. Pilot is a K-8 independent school for bright children who learn differently. We work tirelessly to provide a transformative educational experience. That means between the day our students enter our program and the day they graduate, they become different human beings They have developed skills they struggled to acquire before, they believe things about themselves they previously thought impossible, and they have the confidence to navigate environments that were difficult for them before Pilot. That transformation happens because of our expert faculty. And you could be a part of that.

    The claim we make to our families is a bold and audacious one. We promise success where others have struggled. And we make that success possible through small class sizes (5-8 students in a classroom), integrated therapies (you'll be working with an incredible team of speech, PT, and occupational therapists), and an expert faculty (that means a lot of professional development). Our teachers collaborate often, which happens in regular meetings and informally, too. Our faculty are well resourced and have a full quarter of their day free to prepare for their classes and meet with their colleagues. In short, we expect the best, but we do everything in our power to provide the tools to make it possible. Our most successful teachers are compassionate, optimistic, and have an unparalleled growth mindset about both their students and themselves. Our educators bring intellectual, emotional, and professional energy, and it is through them that all the magic happens. The Pilot School is truly an awesome place to work.
