Description
Our client, a popular gifting brand, is seeking anInventory Analyst
to join their team on a contract basis. You will be supporting one of their brands that sell fruit baskets and gifts.
This is a temp-to-perm hybrid role out of Jericho, NY (Long Island).
Responsibilities:
Prepare spreadsheets, reports and other diagnostic tools for use by the department and supervisors.
Working directly with shops and vendors on inventory and product levels
Utilizing Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) to closely track inventory patterns.
Perform month end physical inventory accumulation and reconciliation.
Prepare and review inventory item costs and extensions for inventory review.
Maintain Database information for inventory receipts.
Other duties as directed by Inventory Management.
Qualifications:
1-2 years+ experience within retail, stock or inventory management.
Must have strong mathematical, reconciliation, and analytical abilities.
Must be skilled with Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables).
Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
Must work and communicate well with others – peers, managers, external associates.
