• Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
• Maintain patient records and update medical charts with accurate information
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
• Handle billing and insurance claims, verifying patient coverage and collecting payments
• Manage medical office supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
• Assist with medical scheduling, including coordinating appointments, procedures, and referrals
• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

• Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with mínimal supervision
