The role of a Stores Executive Intern can provide you with the skills and experience of: Guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest first team culture across the store Guest engagement; problem-solving and resolution Retail business fundamentals Setting and planning department(s) monthly/quarterly workload to support business priorities and managing a team to deliver service sales goals Managing a team of hourly team members leadership while creating business strategies goals Recruiting selecting talent management hourly team members leadersResponsibilities
As a Stores Executive Intern no two days are ever the same but typical day will most likely include responsibilities Spending time on store salesfloor backroom leading amongst team members aligning daily business priorities Working alongside your Executive Team Lead mentor other leaders building gain understanding their roles Leading through daily priorities stocking shelves ensuring safe welcoming environment inviting guests helping build displays within store etc Partnering leaders regarding member performance teaching coaching training delivering timely feedback Addressing member concerns removing hurdles smooth operations goal attainment Leading/presenting at daily huddles peer/leadership teams Planning daily goals organizing plans within stores Providing summary results priorities peer/leadership teams Working with store each day set goals expectations Reviewing business reporting insights troubleshoot follow opportunity areas Work with store each day set goals expectations Deliver exceptional guest experience ensuring member knowledgeable empowered make right guests Providing ideas recommend solutions opportunities Taking initiative learn Target leader seeking growth development continuously learning throughout internship experience Commit learning Targets expectations personally developing asking questions seeking feedback Actively participate program training developmental opportunities events Demonstrate willingness take strategic risks new assignments Demonstrate culture ethical conduct safety compliance lead work hold accountable commitment Work safe manner benefit yourself others identify correct hazards comply all safety policies best practices Foster inclusive equitable safe secure culture Carry principal duties responsibilities department Gain understanding all areas develop acumen Create welcoming experience greeting guests completing tasks Engage guests welcoming way solve specific needs Thank guests let know happy chose shop Target All other duties based on business needsThis may be right job if:
