Hotel Asset Management & Advisory Analyst


Responsibilities

  • Directly support hotel asset managers.
  • Develop and deliver analyses, such as specific operations and financial comparisons, market/ industry/company research, and other adhoc financial analysis projects across the asset management portfolio.
  • Create analytical models and reports.
  • Develop pro forma financial projections.
  • Populate recurring reports with monthly/quarterly/annual data.
  • Interpret data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities.
  • Utilize our proprietary business intelligence platform to analyze data and generate insights that drive informed business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Ensure client deliverables are produced on time and errorfree.
  • Coordinate information flow and maintain data in an organized format (electronically & hard files as appropriate).
  • Evaluate data collection and report delivery and continually seek opportunities for improving the overall process through automation of data, formatting, streamlining, etc.
  • Develop additional reports to meet internal or client requests.
  • Design data presentation pieces such as graphs, take away pieces for client meetings, presentations for specific projects or in support of new business initiatives to support the asset management and portfolio project teams.
  • Perform market and general industry research.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, and/or Real Estate Finance or related field. Hotel business degree or experience with hotel P&Ls preferred.
  • Demonstrates strong quantitative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly adaptable with excellent attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical techniques, and business writing.
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong ability to identify, collect, process, and organize substantial amounts of information and data, even if limited or incomplete.
  • Willingness to travel.
