Position Summary:
As a Medical Assistant in our practice, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care, handling tasks ranging from patient charting to preparing exam/treatment rooms, participating in surgeries, and aiding the physician.
*JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Patient Check In/Out (Erie location), managing paperwork, and scheduling appointments.
- Preparing patients for examinations, taking histories, vital signs, and ensuring up-to-date EHR.
- Supporting physicians and physician assistants in minor surgeries, maintaining supplies/equipment, and sterilization.
- Handling patient administrative responsibilities including patient relations, check in/check out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone inquiries.
*EXPERIENCE:
- Preferably, one year of clinical medical assisting experience in a DERMATOLOGY setting, but we're open to training the right candidate! *Experience in MOHS Surgery is beneficial but not mandatory.
