- Responsible for performing mammography procedures by following established policies and procedures for patient care and safety. Receives direction from: Radiology Manager or Mammography Coordinator.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist Program.
- 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist, required
- Eligible to be qualified under MQSA to perform Mammography, required
- CPR Trained, required
- CPR Trained, required
- ARRT License, required - (with Mammogram Certification preferred).
- Current State License as Diagnostic Radiographer, required
- Working knowledge of mammography equipment, procedures and Protocols.
- Anatomy and Physiology.
- Proper positioning of patients.
- Keyboarding Skills.
- Ability to apply written instructions standardized work practices.
- Able to communicate clearly, to concentrate, and pay close attention to detail when conducting or assisting with diagnostic radiologic procedures
