    POSITION OVERVIEW
    • Responsible for performing mammography procedures by following established policies and procedures for patient care and safety. Receives direction from: Radiology Manager or Mammography Coordinator.
    EDUCATION
    • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist Program.
    EXPERIENCE
    • 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist, required
    • Eligible to be qualified under MQSA to perform Mammography, required
    • CPR Trained, required
    LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
    • CPR Trained, required
    • ARRT License, required - (with Mammogram Certification preferred).
    • Current State License as Diagnostic Radiographer, required
    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Working knowledge of mammography equipment, procedures and Protocols.
    • Anatomy and Physiology.
    • Proper positioning of patients.
    • Keyboarding Skills.
    • Ability to apply written instructions standardized work practices.
    • Able to communicate clearly, to concentrate, and pay close attention to detail when conducting or assisting with diagnostic radiologic procedures
