Litron, located in Agawam, MA, is looking for a experienced Office Assistant to join our team This role is full-time, Monday-Friday 8:
00am-4:
30pm.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answer all customer calls or correspondence in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain the Litron visitor log and visit passes. Screen all visitors as required for ITAR compliance
  • Manage records filing, including paper filing and electronic scanning with a high level of accuracy
  • Process orders and data entry with high level of accuracy
  • Provide administrative assistance to the executive staff at Litron when required
  • Duties as assigned by the Office Manager to support daily operations
  • Duties as assigned by the Customer Service Representative/Sales Manager in support of marketing communications
  • Duties as assigned by the Director of Quality in support of Quality Assurance
  • Ensure and provide quality service to external customers
  • Maintain a positive representation of the company at all times
  • Administrative support to HR manager, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence
  • Assisting in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, new hire orientation and onboarding activities
  • Assisting with employee engagement meetings, planning and events, employee recognition programs and employee communication tasks

Requirements:


Knowledge, Skills, & Physical Requirements:


  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from customers in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing and crouching
  • Previous experience in an office assistant or administrative role preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.) is desired but not required

Education and Experience:


  • High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • A.S. Administrative Assistant or similar field preferred.
  • Entry level, no experience required.
  • Previous experience in an office setting or administrative role is preferred.
