    Description

    Leidos Defense Systems Sector has an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst Senior to support a large CPFF EVM program in the Sector.

    In this role, you will be responsible for all financial aspects of the program.

    As a key member of the program team, you will work directly with the program manager to help define the program financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.

    Ideally, we are looking for someone who resides in the Huntsville, AL area, but will consider 100% telecommute option for the right candidate who can travel on an as needed basis.


    Additional Responsibilities:
    Prepare and present financial forecasts, reports and analysis.
    Prepare on-contract growth proposals for customers.

    Work closely with other functional areas on financial related elements while, managing a programs general ledger, and monitoring a programs cash flow.

    Develop and drive financial forecasts, EACs; Manage subcontractor and analyzing the programs revenue and costs.

    Help Program Managers identify programmatic risk and opportunities that will impact program financials while recommending cost reductions and ways to mitigating risk.

    Responsible for financial performance of the program to include the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly/Quarterly forecast and FP&A activities.
    Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses
    Cash management to Inventory analysis as well as timely submittal of invoices, collections and unbilled reduction.

    Deliverables:

    Estimate at Completion (EACs), Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSR), monthly and quarterly business reviews (IPR), AOP and Quarterly Forecast.

    Pricing for On contract Growth for contracts
    Partner with EVMS team on monthly EVM reporting.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline plus 8 years of program finance related experience.
    Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
    Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.
    Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
    Commercial experience and experience with revenue recognition a must.
    US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance if required.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Cost Point, Hyperion, OBI, Cognos, Fusion, LPAS, and Cost Point.
    Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.
    Manufacturing experience and experience with international business arrangements preferred.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $87, $157,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

    Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
