Great opportunity for an experienced

Manufacturing Engineer

to work for a US manufacturing leader in packaging and bottling solutions across food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and automotive industries located in Somerset, NJ.

This

Manufacturing Engineer

will be responsible for day-to-day project leadership on the production floor, leading the implementation of new equipment/automation, and guiding continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Support Manufacturing Operations with continuous improvement and process optimization programs.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to production technicians, operators and other production personnel.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for existing systems.
Assist with process control, process development training, and related documentation
Third party vendor management.
Manage library of purchased and designed components.
Pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical component selection and cross references.
Create CAD drawings for CNC machining and fabrication, BOM and assembly prints.

Design and develop tooling by working with theoretical plastic parts and drawings with contingency plans for hot molded 'real' parts.

Execute equipment qualification/validation/training/debug/hand-off to production counterparts

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
6+ years of experience working within a manufacturing engineering environment
