    Job Description

GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities, including THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL, that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. We're dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights through innovative system engineering approaches. We always want to do more, and that's where you come in

GA-CCRi is looking for a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our federal team, contributing to the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems that leverage advanced modeling methodologies. Systems Modeling Language (SysML) functional models are used to employ solutions that orchestrate engagement control via System of Systems (SoS) architectures. Engineering solutions are tested, demonstrated, and assessed by subject matter experts followed by solution transitioning.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Architect and maintain MBSE frameworks to meet Department of Defense (DoD) SoS architectures.
    • Utilize Systems Engineering methodologies to streamline system safety, cyber approval, and certification processes.
    • Create systems engineering models using SysML-based tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architect (CEA) or Cameo Systems Modeler (CSM)
    • Analyze and interpret customer, user, and operational requirements to design and implement MBSE solutions that meet project objectives.
    • Manage and control changes to software, documentation, and integrated components.
    • Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner.
    • Communicate system requirements, design specifications, and project progress with management, customers, developers, and users.
    • Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

    Requirements

    • A Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree and two or more years experience on system engineering principles and practices.
    • May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
    • Experience with SysML-based tools (Cameo or others)
    • Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
    • An understanding of formal software engineering principles including design, documentation, ticketing systems, version control and Agile methodologies.
    • Customer focused, flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving specifications and can formulate plans based on advanced MSBE techniques.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect (CEA) or Cameo Systems Modeler (CSM)
    • Experience in military systems and programs
    • Knowledge of relevant domains such as aerospace or defense industries
    • Geospatial data processing
    • Curious and excited to learn new technologies
    • Interested in maintaining and adapting complex systems
    • An understanding of formal software engineering principles including design, documentation, ticketing systems, version control and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools
