The Ins ide Sa les R ep resentative assists with new and existing customer sales and provides product support to outside sales representatives.
This position provides quotes and product dimension information, both in person and over the phone.Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and ins tallations.
Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales .Obtain orders from customers and sales representatives; Manage schedules for project by coordinating with outside sales, jobsites, and assigned customers .
solve billing problems and compile data for closing .Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance .
Minimum experience required - 1 year in building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application. Special skills required - Ability to operate computer, calculator & cash register. Knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry. Should be familiar with inventory and inventory control.
