SUMMARY:


Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships + Development, the Feliciano School of Business is seeking part time (30 hours/week), per diem assistance in the support of day-to-day fundraising and external stakeholder engagement operations.

The selected individual will create, coordinate, maintain, and scale processes and systems to support external stakeholder engagement, project and event management, data entry, fundraising collateral, meeting preparation, travel and expense reporting and administrative tasks.

The person must be proactive and have a collaborative, flexible, positive working style and problem-solving approach.

Under supervision of the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships + Development, the position directly supports two development staff people:
the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships + Development and Director of Development.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and maintain the planning of the Feliciano School of Business' semiannual board meetings and executive committee meetings
  • Coordinate and maintain systems to support the department's marketing and communications strategies to include updating relevant website pages, maintaining social media calendar, monitoring general inbound inquiries and writing social media posts
  • Coordinate and maintain systems to track and monitor Feliciano School of Business constituents and stakeholder involvement at the business school. Some examples include classroom speakers, career services speakers, executive speakers, mentors, advisory board participation, giving prospects and mentors
  • Coordinate and maintain systems to grow, expand and track mentoring programs, using PeopleGrove platform and other tools
  • Assist with fundraising collateral preparation and proposal editing. Create PowerPoint decks and perform simple photo and video editing
  • Monitor gift reports and prepare thank you notes and acknowledgements
  • Monitor and assist with calendars and scheduling. Assist with meeting preparation and event organizing and execution
  • Coordinate all expense authorizations and reporting
  • Assist in creating, tracking and managing project plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Dean's office and across campus as well as development team members
Qualifications & Requirements


Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment and maintain professional manner and executive presence at all times
  • Be proactive and anticipate needs. Maintain a problemsolving attitude and approach.
  • Detailoriented
  • Strong customer service skills. Comfortable working with executive level stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Powerpoint and Excel as well as the Google Suite of software services
  • Experience using project management platform tools such as Asana
  • Curious, adaptable and open to learning new software programs and webbased tools

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Raiser's Edge or similar contact management software experience
  • Experience in fundraising atmosphere
  • Coordinating and managing high level volunteers in a nonprofit or higher education environment
  • Board and Committee coordination and management in a nonprofit or higher education environment
  • Previous project management experience
  • Knowledge and use of social media
