Job Description:
Use business analysis techniques to proactively identify warehousing process improvements, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
Train and direct end-user processes systematically and operationally, occasionally outside of normal business hours (M-F 8 am to 5 pm).
Define and document best practice proceduresDefine business requirements and produce functional design specifications for processes that involve the Koerber (HighJump) Warehouse Management System and the business ERP.
Serve as the primary liaison between the business and IT for understanding, defining, and developing best practices.Write test cases and aid in the testing of developed solutions.
Help facilitate quality assurance and user acceptance testing with business partners.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for applications within the area of responsibility and provide production support as necessary.
Present technical subjects/issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Willing and able to take on other duties as assigned.
Utilize business and operational acumen to help guide work prioritization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and relevant training.
3+ years of work experience in supply chain operations or a warehousing business analyst role.
Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment and deliver quality results on time
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to industrial distribution facilities (up to 40%)
Preferred
Work experience in supporting a Warehouse Management System. Koerber/HighJump experience is highly preferred.
Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL and the use of Excel for detailed data analysis.
Experience using lean methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
