Job Description

Since 1999, Statkraft has been trading electricity, gas, certificates, and a wide range of structured products in Germany.

We are the largest marketer of renewable energy in Germany and also operate ten hydropower plants, four gas-fired power plants, and two biomass cogeneration plants.

To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Biomass Fuel Purchaser (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible:

  • Your main tasks include ensuring the supply of our power plants with woody biomass. You take care of the further development of the supplier portfolio through supplier acquisition, the development of alternative sources of supply, and the obtaining and checking of offers.
  • You are the contact person for our suppliers and service providers, take care of the maintenance of these contractual partners, and visit them regularly on site.
  • You analyze procurement markets in Germany and Europe, monitor changes in technical and legal framework conditions, and drive the systematic further development of procurement processes.
  • You create the purchasing and delivery planning, manage delivery obligations, carry out quality controls, handle complaints, conduct assortment analyses, and prepare contract documents.
