    We are currently seeking an effective and efficient Bar Manager to supervise the bar and light concessions operations at three venues within a half-mile radius. The successful candidate will have experience in both bar and restaurant/snack bar management, and must be adept at multiple facets of bar and concession operations, including managing staff and inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring total cleanliness.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee bartenders, barbacks, and kitchen staff.
    • Determine staff schedules to ensure smooth operation.
    • Ensure bars and kitchen are well stocked and clean.
    • Track customer behavior and sales to optimize operations.
    • Select and purchase liquor and supplies.
    • Maintain budget and monitor costs to achieve financial targets.
    • Maintain vendor relationships for seamless supply chain management.
    • Maintain inventory to avoid shortages or excesses.
    • Participate in special event planning and execution.
    • Appropriately delegate tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
    • Hire, train, promote, discipline, and fire staff when necessary.
    • Master, utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot point of sale technology.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • Strong and proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team.
    • Excellent multitasking ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
    • Problem-solving skills to address challenges promptly and effectively.
    • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness.
    • Calm under pressure to handle demanding situations professionally.
    • Highly organized to manage inventory, schedules, and budgets efficiently.
    • Ability to de-escalate tense situations and provide excellent customer service.
    • Facility with math and basic accounting for financial management.
    • High-level interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff and customers.

    Education and Experience:

    • Experience in tending bar and management in a high-volume nightclub environment.
    • Associates degree or higher in hotel and restaurant management is a plus.
    • Admin level familiarity with Point of Sale systems and other industry software.
    • Mastery of Microsoft Office and Google Office, particularly spreadsheets.
