    Opportunity Overview

    Two Six Technologies is looking for a Lead Test Engineer to contribute to an innovative cyberspace capability project. The perfect candidate will stand out in developing and maintaining automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests for products that combine computer hardware and software. This role involves a tight collaboration with research and development teams to ensure comprehensive software testing and adherence to quality standards.     Main Responsibilities:

    • Lead testing group in developing a product test automation platform that integrates multiple software and hardware components.
    • Design a high-performance CI pipeline using custom, commercial, and open source tools.
    • Develop functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests.
    • Identify, document, and track software bugs and assist in managing product release schedules.
    • Collaborate closely with the development team to identify and replicate product defects.
    • Assist in planning and executing tests for new features.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Active Top Secret Clearance willing to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
    • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with automated testing and automation frameworks like pytest (Python), unittest (Python), and Ansible.
    • Experience with testing, CI/CD pipelines, and virtual machine test environments.
    • Experience in testing, validating, and verifying the performance and functionality of Xilinx/AMD FPGA System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, firmware, and integration with software systems.
    • Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
    • At least 3 years of experience using issue tracking and source control tools (JIRA, Gitlab, BitBucket), artifact management (Artifactory, Nexus), logging (Graylog), asset management (SnipeIT), and various Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins).
    • At least 3 years of experience with Linux OS.
    • Familiarity with software development tools and environments such as IDEs and version control systems.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Python, C, and C++, including basic debugging skills.
    • Hands-on experience with hardware testing tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
    • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, VHDL, Verilog.
    • Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART.
    • Hands-on experience with JTAG programming.
    • Familiarity with basic database technologies and software.
    • Knowledge of Docker and scalable infrastructure technologies like Metal as a Service and VSphere.
    • Experience in enhancing software release processes, workflows, and schedules.
    • Expertise in refining low-level testing scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
    • Strong technical writing and documentation skills regarding software development.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Active Top Secret Clearance willing to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
