    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Development of detailed technical data packages in compliance with customer requirements.


    • Assist in the planning, design, and launch of facility manufacturing processes.

    • Ability to apply lean principles to an existing product design and manufacturing processes by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.


    • Able to recommend capital equipment requirements to achieve manufacturing goals based on product specification.


    • Possess strong knowledge of product development in manufacturing, production process, and equipment or machinery.


    • Experience in robotics, automation, tooling, molding, and fixtures is preferred.


    • Maintain a direct interface with customers to ensure project success.


    • Work cooperatively within an integrated team to deliver exceptional results. Qualifications:


    • A minimum of 3 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience required, preferably in the automotive industry.


    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.


    • Significant local and overnight travel is required to company or customer facilities.


    • Assembly process manufacturing.


    • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to work on our government contracts.

    Key Competencies:

    • AutoCAD experience doing facilities layout.


    • Motivated self-starter


    • Problem solving capabilities


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


    • Excellent mechanical and technical skills
