POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provide operational support for the development and complete execution of the daily store replenishment picking plan.

Works closely with replenishment and distro picking leads and supervisors to ensure work is planned and distributed in a manner that supports efficient operations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

_(May include but not limited to the following)_***- Prepares work plan for day's picking in advance while the Induction team prepares the chucks for service.


  • Ensures all replenishment orders waved and released completely and ontime into the HighJump and 6 RS Systems. Initiates the escalation process when needed.
  • Waves orders by route according to best practice i.e... Texas, Long Range and Local Routes
  • Supports the high order yield by:
  • Releasing orders at the highest "ATP" percentage, escalating an issue when below threshold, working with the slotting and replenishment team if needed
  • Troubleshooting open picks and coordinates the completion
  • Ensures all reject picks are addressed and picked
  • Wave plans and assigns suggested orders that come from merchandise team
  • Monitors the Outbound Order Management for order progress and completion; immediately escalates work queues planned outside of replenishment zone, supporting a maximum order yield execution system
  • Creates store order and bar code labels for suggested orders and reject picking
  • Supports the operation of the Six Rivers system: monitors performance of equipment and initiates problem escalation processes
  • Analyze the units canceled by stores that impacted the DC's pick yield and provide a detailed report identifying the root cause for the cancellation
  • Track the DIA percentage for each picking wave, investigate reasons for item rejections by the 6RS system, and provide detailed dashboard underlying causes for rejected units
  • Ensures ongoing housekeeping and orderliness around control desk
  • Communicate issues and problems that cannot be resolved immediately on a timely basis to supervisor / manager
  • Performs core work functions at times (such as replenishment picking and induction) when not functioning in support role

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


Knowledge of:


  • Must be highly proficient in reject, replenishment (RF) and distro order picking and thoroughly familiar with and compliant with all standard operating procedures
  • Safe lifting and material handling techniques in the use of common warehouse equipment
  • Warehouse concepts of inventory controls, product movement, order picking, RF gun operation
  • HighJump system / Six Rivers system / Webwise knowledge
  • WSS store order replenishment sequencing
  • Label making operation

Experience and / or Education Requirements:

  • Previous experience in distribution center picking operation is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively.

Hourly rate:
$17.75-$21.50/hour
