- Senior System Administration: Serve as the senior system administrator for the environment with a focus on system health, user management, and platform scalability.
- Salesforce Management: Administer, configure, and further develop the Salesforce environment, ensuring alignment with business processes and strategic goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Adoption of continuous improvement mindset to always be improving the business. Enhance Salesforce processes and workflows for better efficiency within the sales and marketing teams.
- Project Management: Lead and manage Salesforce-related projects to support new integrations, product launches, or feature rollouts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional requirements and actionable CRM strategies.
- User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce users to ensure efficient adoption and operation of the platform.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity of CRM data through regular review, cleaning, and deduplication efforts.
- Integration Oversight: Manage the integration of Salesforce with other systems, ensuring these connections are maintained and beneficial.
- Security Oversight: Oversee roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permissions to ensure CRM data security.
- Routine Administrative Tasks: Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for Salesforce vendors and third-party consultants.
- Adherence to Policies: Rigorously adhere to and enforce all company, state, and federal safety policies and procedures within the Salesforce environment. Champion the importance of maintaining a safe work context for all team members.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all Salesforce-related activities and operations conform to company policies as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standard of integrity and compliance.
- Salesforce Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the Salesforce platform that could affect goals or the overall business strategy. This includes overseeing the security of Salesforce data, managing the integrity of sales processes, and ensuring system operations are risk averse.
- 5 - 7 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Certified Salesforce Platform App builder
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer
- Continuous Improvement or Lean background preferred.
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes and solutions including the ability to build custom apps, fields and objects, lightning page layouts, sharing rules, approval processes, automations, custom settings, and other content of intermediate complexity.
- Ability to evaluate Salesforce features and related applications and participate in the planning and implementation of solutions.
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on our Salesforce instance and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
- Exposure to web integrations, CTI, Jitterbit middleware and Google Geo-coding technologies.
- Exposure to AI and predictive analytics.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce's best practices and functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote support resources.
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Strong data management abilities.
- A demonstrated ability to understand, articulate and document complex requirements.
