Description

Duties

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and techniques.
Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health status.
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Skills:

Proficient in using computer systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining client privacy.
Familiarity with resident rights in assisted living or home care settings.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors or individuals in need of care.

$9.00 - $13.00 per hour
