    The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor is accountable for managing daily operations of the Neurophysiology Lab on their assigned shift. Organizes, facilitates, and prioritizes activities to ensure quality patient care delivery. Supervises staff including coaching, mentoring, evaluating their performance. The Neurophysiology Lab Supervisor collaborates and works in conjunction with the department director, physicians, and other members of the departments leadership team.

    **Description**

    1. Supervises the daily operations of the Neurophysiology lab on assigned shift.

    2. Organizes, facilitates and prioritizes activities to ensure quality patient care delivery and the attainment of department safety goals.

    3. Fosters effective communication, collaboration and accountability between clinical staff and other departments.

    4. Ensures reporting and appropriate follow-up on occurrences.

    5. Responsible for supervising, coaching and mentoring assigned staff. Assists with evaluating effectiveness of staff.

    6. Ensures appropriate skill mix for patient care and assists with timely care when needed.

    7. Ensures cost effective and efficient use of resources and equipment and identifies and addresses potential areas for costs savings and improved efficiencies of care.

    8. Oversees the management and maintenance of technological systems and partners with Healthcare Technology management and medical leadership to ensure information systems are maximized.

    9. Completes ongoing monitoring data collection, and audits to ensure compliance.

    10. Proactively identifies and addresses areas of potential risk and improvement.

    11. Leads performance improvement activities and teams.

    12. Performs other duties as assigned.
