    Description
    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a facility in Ithaca, NY. These are registry positions with our company.

    Pay Rate: $79 / hour

    Shift details:
    • Saturday - Thursday, 8 hour shifts


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Licensed in New York State (RN)

    • First Aid Certified

    • CPR Certified

    • AED Certified



    GENERAL DUTIES:

    • Maintain confidential medical records of student participants and chaperones

    • Respond to medical emergencies

    • Check-in camper and staff medication upon arrival

    • Set up medical room and conduct inventory of supplies

    • Establish and follow appropriate medical routines*

    • Post hours for daily medications and health call

    • Complete accident/incident reports when needed

    • On camp trips, the nurse would be responsible for administering first aid if needed

    • Follow procedures as outlined in the Camp Safety Plan

    • Be familiar and strive to follow any applicable federal, state, local regulations, association health and safety policy/procedure/requirement and standards

    • Be aware of, and adhere to, established NYGEAR UP policies and procedures.


    *Medical Routines include record keeping in the daily medical log, disposal of medical waste, managing and safeguarding medications, and ensuring medications are delivered as per NYS Guidance
