    VP of Project Execution - Utility-Scale Battery Storage: ERCOT

    As the Vice President of Project Execution for utility-scale renewable energy projects, you will play a pivotal role in leading the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phase of solar and battery storage initiatives. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and offers a compelling opportunity to drive impactful renewable energy initiatives within our organization.

    Your responsibilities will encompass:

    • Taking ownership of project execution, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety aspects.
    • Manage the RFP process and negotiate EPC contracts with the legal team.
    • Directing internal procurement strategies to optimize project performance.
    • Building and nurturing relationships with EPC contractors, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
    • Implementing and enforcing quality control and assurance standards for reliable energy project delivery.
    • Tracking project budgets and expenses and implementing cost-saving strategies.
    • Developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and addressing deviations to meet milestones.
    • Identifying and mitigating project risks and challenges.
    • Ensuring regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
    • Collaborating across departments and with external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
    • Leading, motivating, and developing team members for operational efficiency.
    • Preparing and reviewing executive-level materials and presentations.
