Bottle Service/Cocktail Server

Job Summary:
Bottle Service/Cocktail Servers are
responsible for making suggestions to guests who have reserved tables, focusing on the beverage selection. They pour and mix drinks at the table in addition to taking food orders and/or additional drink orders. Our Cocktail and Bottle Service Servers must have extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine pairings.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide excellent, friendly, courteous, and professional service to all internal and external guests, in every interaction.
  • Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of work area/assigned station and the establishment.
  • Provide service to and be accountable for an assigned station and section.
  • Anticipateguests' needs.
  • Respond to guests' requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
  • Proper handling of VIPs, recognize repeat guests, and protect their privacy and confidentiality.
  • Perform accurate cash/credit handling and POS procedures in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge about surroundings, i.e. nearby entertainment, theaters, etc.
  • Greet guests upon them sitting in your assigned section.
  • Provide guests a complete introduction and a menu tour.
  • Take all guests orders in a timely manner, always writing them down.
  • Mark all of your tables with the appropriate settings for dishes as it applies.
  • Maintain the quality of the food, beverages, and restaurant by performing frequent checks.
  • Assist in bussing, cleaning, and resetting the bar top when appropriate.
  • Keep beverages filled for guests.
  • At the conclusion of the guests' meals, and drop the check and process payment when appropriate.

Qualifications:


  • At least 1year previous high volume restaurant or hotel experience.
  • California Food Handlers certified.
  • RBS certified.
  • Must have the ability to carry large trays of drinks and food and have the ability to organize multiple orders, always being attentive.
  • Maintain a high level of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and late hours.
  • Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
  • Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to behave at all times based on a guest responsive culture where exceptional guest service prevails.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess excellent phone skills and be guest service oriented and proactive.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
  • Ability to be friendly, engaging, gracious, and the ability to focus and connect with all guests and team members and exceed their expectations.
  • Have an upbeat, energetic, authentic, and positive attitude.
  • Know how to participate in a team environment and assist other departments when needed, providing lateral service.

Physical Requirements:


  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
  • Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling/pushing, and stooping. Enter and locate workrelated information using computers. Perform other job duties as requested.
  • Must show proof of vaccination against Covid19.
