Job DescriptionThe Lead Installation Programmer works in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Design Engineer to achieve successful installation, test and closeout of each assigned project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Control4 Experience a must Rack construction, speaker installation,control system programming, pulling and terminating cable, and preparing equipment for installation
• Installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related sub-systems .
• Testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention .
• Uses company approved installation methods and techniques.
• Ensures all work complies with company policies, procedures, standards and conventions.
• Assures each system's physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings .
• Maintain an on-going dialog with Project Manger, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
• The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for maintaining his assigned equipment inventory, and assigned tools.
• Turning in daily activity sheets.
• Comply with all aspects of the Company's Policies & Directives.
• Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management.
• Follows and maintains proper safetypractices.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
• High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite. Industry certifications a plus.
PRIOR RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Two years experience installing audio visual ,teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems and related systems.
EXPERIENCE IN USE OF SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT, TOOLS , WORK AIDS:
• Experience
using hand tools of the AN and electronic related trades is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques, etc.
PERSONAL TRAITS:
• The position of Installation requires the following attributes: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus and attention to detail and punctuality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
• Must be able to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods of time.
• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding .
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in high places and in small cramped places.
• Must be able to work in hot humid places as well as coldplaces.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to maintain the following attributes while under pressure from deadlines: technical capability , professionalism, self-motivation, self discipline, focus and attention to detail.
• Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities.
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
