Overview:
This is a Year Round Poistion NOT summer

We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the Front Desk to help our professional stylists provide a great
- in salon experience for our guest from start to finish.


You will be the face of the salon, greeting customers upon arrival, be conversant in services, retail, pricing and properly process transactions.

You will assist in retail cleaning, stocking shelves, ordering of products/supplies and upkeep of the salon.

To be successful in the role, having experience in a hair salon is a plus.

You should be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to manage clients with grace and a smile, even during peak traffic.


Other Duties:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Handle inquiries from clients, customers, and employees
  • Provide general administrative support to the team

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
  • Proficient in using computerized systems
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of office management procedures
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not required
Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions. We offer competitive compensation based on experience.


Pay:
From $19.00 per hour


Expected hours:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed
