    Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina.

    This position is available on first shift.

    Weekly PayMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401(k) with a generous company matchFree Basic Life InsuranceShort & Long-Term DisabilitySchedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessaryLocation: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263Responsibilities:Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal platesPrepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedulesEnsure that there are sufficient raw materials availableMeasure and align materials to be usedInspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specificationsPerform routine maintenance on the press brakeMaintain a clean work areaPerform other related duties as assignedEducation Requirements/Qualifications:Minimum of a high school education or equivalentAt least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferredJob Requirements/

    Special Skills:
    Requires working in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibelsAbility to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate brake press controlsAbility to read blue printsAbility to understand brake diesAbility to read a tape measure, micrometer, and calipersAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and work for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibelsIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us
