Summary:
The Intake Coordinator plays a critical role in the referral and intake process for our program.
Responsibilities include managing FFA open beds, coordinating marketing efforts in local communities, and collaborating with the foster care team on the recruitment, support, and retention of foster families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the intake and referral process.
- Maintain and update vacancy lists and ensure all placement information is accurate.
- Assess placement appropriateness and match foster children with suitable foster homes.
- Coordinate placements, including necessary transportation and paperwork.
- Act as the oncall contact for emergency and afterhours placements.
- Engage in recruitment activities and maintain relationships with local county representatives.
- Complete initial child files and track placements and terminations for reporting purposes.
- Additional duties as required based on agency needs.
Requirements:
- Must pass a preemployment physical exam, including a TB test, at own expense.
- Undergo fingerprinting and obtain clearance from DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index.
- Acknowledge mandatory reporting responsibilities for child and elder abuse.
- Valid California Driver License and proof of automobile insurance.
- Proficiency with office technology and software for documentation.
- Minimum onehour training in recognizing and reporting child and elder abuse.

Compensation:
- Salary and benefits details provided in the Offer of Employment letter.
- This position's schedule and compensation are determined by individual agreements.
