Position Summary:
Accounts Receivable Specialist

The primary focus of this role involves optimizing cash flow by proactively identifying and resolving outstanding accounts receivable balances. Additionally, you will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers, set appropriate credit limits, and monitor credit accounts to reduce the risk of non-payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collections Management: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, spot delinquent accounts, and implement effective collection strategies to recover outstanding balances promptly.
  • Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of customers' creditworthiness, establish suitable credit limits and terms based on credit reports and relevant data.
  • Credit Policy Adherence
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address inquiries, resolve payment disputes, and nurture positive client relationships.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collection activities, and credit risk metrics to gain insights into credit and collections process efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance credit and collections processes to boost efficiency, lower bad debt exposure, and optimize cash flow management.
Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in credit analysis and collections management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
