    Role Overview:
    Applies electrical design knowledge and ability to create final construction drawings for the owner and supports the owner throughout the entire construction process and serves as a mentor to less experienced electrical engineers and CAD drafters

    Key Responsibilities:


    Accurately and timely produces electrical design elements consistent with project specificationsAccurately and timely produces design elements in accordance with the project hours, scope & parametersProduces construction electrical documents appropriate for permitting based on project specificsActively participates in post design activities through punch lists to construction completionEnsures quality of electrical design is consistent with established quality standards.

    Provides complete management of project timelines and related design activity communication between the design team and the client/customer, accurately & timelyProvides timely consultation on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes and standards consistent with company quality standardsProduces accurate and complete engineering project specifications within project parametersProvide timely billing of projects to accounting departmentFollows established work rules, policies and proceduresActively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costsAssists in the preparation of other documents germane to a project with enthusiasm and professionalismCooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assignedAdditional Tasks:
    Other general office processes and procedures and project activities

    Minimum Qualifications:
    A 4-year degree in Engineering requiredDemonstrable understanding of construction process and interpretation of construction drawings.

    Knowledge of Engineering drafting standardsExpert knowledge of building codes and standardsKnowledge of Electrical Engineering standards and other tradesDemonstrate Superior Expertise in a Specific SectorKnowledge of AutoCad and/or RevitExcellent communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:

    EIT and/or PE preferredTravel Requirements:
    Travel is anticipated between 0-10%
