    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Controls System Design:
    Collaborate with clients and project teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
    Develop conceptual and detailed designs for electrical control systems, including hardware, software, and instrumentation.

    PLC Programming:
    Develop PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs using industry-standard software (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley).
    Implement logic and control algorithms to automate industrial processes and machinery.

    HMI/SCADA Development:
    Design and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
    Create intuitive user interfaces for operators to monitor and control industrial processes.

    Electrical Panel Design:
    Design electrical control panels and layouts, including component selection, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL) for electrical safety and reliability.

    Testing and Commissioning:
    Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to verify functionality and performance.
    Assist with system commissioning and startup activities, including on-site installation and integration.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering, with a focus on industrial automation.

    Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Studio 5000).

    Experience with HMI/SCADA development tools (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition) and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
    Strong knowledge of electrical control panel design and fabrication processes.
    Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and best practices for industrial control systems.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
