    Linder, an industry leading large heavy equipment dealer with locations in Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina, is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Ft Myers, FL.     Job Description:

    Responsible for assisting both Field & Shop Service Supervisors.

    Responsibilities:

    · Ensure technician clocked labor time and description of work performed is submitted daily

    · Initiate work orders, take accurate descriptions of reported machine failures/issues, generate estimates for repairs, acquire approvals from customer for repairs.

    · Communicate with Product Support Representatives and customers regarding revised estimates/scope of work changes

    · Maintain written record of communications to ensure customers are aware of scope of work to be performed. For example: Call logs, email logs, and follow up calls.

    · Continuous Status updates provided to all team members of open work orders.

    · Approval of clocked labor hours on work orders.

    · Maintain warranty repairs to ensure proper documentation is present for warranty claims

    · Provide input to Field/Shop Supervisor's on employee performance reviews and training needs

    · Report to Field/Shop Supervisor's any rework or non-productive activity on the part of technicians that occurs in both field/shop operation

    · Update Field/Shop Service Supervisors of work orders where there are delays, disputes, or any issue leading to excessive down time and/or loss.

    Education/Experience/Skill:

    · High School diploma or GED and a minimum two years at Vocational or Technical School

    · Minimum five years' experience as a heavy equipment Technician

    · Proficient computer skills

    · Excellent interpersonal skills

    · General knowledge of maintenance, repair, parts department functions, and customer needs
