Job Summary:
  • The Role:
  • Visit patients daily to provide menu and review prescribed diet orders.
  • Explain meal service process, obtain food preferences, and verify allergies/intolerances.
  • Enter meal selections into Computrition, ensuring they meet diet restrictions.
  • Assist in diet office tasks and may deliver food to units.
  • Perform assigned duties.

    • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Minimum six months of food service experience required.
    • Possess one year of nutrition or dietetic education or relevant experience.
    • Customer service experience is a plus.

      • Knowledge and Skills:
      • Strong command of English language (reading, writing, speaking).
      • Ability to follow instructions and use necessary equipment.
      • Independent worker with proficiency in computer programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Effective communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
