Description
The Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant provides support to the AR Team and Finance department. This role plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions related to accounts receivable for our Canada offices.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


  • Monitor the Canada AR inboxes and complete action items in a timely manner.
  • Answer customer calls and either provide information or forward appropriate calls to others in the department.
  • Provide support to Collections Specialists, such as pulling invoice documents from both ERP systems.
  • Reconcile customer payment remittances.
  • Complete EFT forms.
  • Assist collectors with customer account reconciliations when needed.
  • Assist in setting up new or updating current Canadian customer profiles in Sage.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Professional communication with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to identify priorities and manage workload without close supervision
  • Initiative to drive projects and tasks to completion
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • General knowledge of accounting processes and appropriate terms
  • Solid data entry skills
  • General math skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

WORK HOURS:

Work hours are a standard Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm.


PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIREMENTS:

Role is performed in typical office environment with climate control and proper lighting; typical sedentary computer work station. A small amount of bending and stooping is required for filing.
