- Conduct month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules for management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the AP/AR Manager and other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and assistance as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with Eclipse or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus.
- Competitive salary: $80,000 - $85,000
