- Train and develop a team of brokerage representatives
- Cultivate and grow relationships with scrap yards and domestic and international recycled material consumers; approximately 50-75% travel
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for your region
- Buy and sell scrap metal and scrap substitutes
- Interact with customers regarding supply chain management, payment terms and contract changes while creating business opportunities to effect strong customer relations and profitability for the Enterprise
- Work across territories with teammates to achieve optimize nonferrous margins and grow 3rd party business
- Proactive problem solving to help the team achieve revenue, shipment, and profitability goals
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business discipline
- 4+ years of a commercially focused prior role in sales/brokerage
- Exceptional communication skills
- Open to future relocation (company paid) throughout the enterprise
- Managed a sales team for 4+ years
- Extensive knowledge of the recycled materials industry and scrap commodity trading
- Demonstrate a high level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
