Job Profile
We are looking for motivated employees to join our Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) team for the preventive maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our modern and complex tool park in the cleanroom area. As a Factory Automation Technician, you will need to have a high level of self-motivation and willingness to learn. Our current equipment park consists of almost 1000 vehicles and tools (~10 tool platforms) from various manufacturers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing complex preventive maintenance and repairs on the tool platforms managed by Factory Automation
- Effective and constructive communication and collaboration with all members of the department, such as AMHS Engineering
- Documenting work steps in the appropriate systems and protocols
- Providing 1st level support for the automatic transport system to ensure smooth delivery to our production facilities
- Monitoring department-owned machines from the AMHS control room and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities to the factory support team
Required Qualifications
- Ideally, you have a degree as a "Staatlich geprüfter Techniker" or a master's degree in electronics/electrical engineering, automation, precision engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, mechatronics, or information technology.
