Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Business or computer/Information Sciences OR an equivalent level of professional experience required.
  • Five years industry related experience in IT/Clinical setting or within applicable area in healthcare operations.
  • Prior experience in EMR implementations is required.
  • Strong computer skills including Windows, Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
  • Familiar with CMS, HIPPA regulations regarding meaningful use requirements and attestations.
  • Ability to manage more than one project at the same time, and communicate with all stakeholders involved in a timely manner.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Epic and have very strong building skills.
  • Nurse experience preferred.
  • Five years' experience in support of Epic, implementations and/or upgrades.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and work effectively with patients, physicians, vendors and System staff at all levels.
  • Capable to lead and work well in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiar with CMS, HIPPA regulations regarding meaningful use requirements and attestations.
  • Ability to manage more than one project at the same time and communicate with all stakeholder involved in a timely manner. Strong motivation and team skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the terminology, functional knowledge, business processes and issues related to using computer systems in Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiology Laboratory and other ancillary clinical services required.
  • Experience in business information system management in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is _$97,115.20 to $131,102.40_ on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure._
