The 4-H Youth Educator delivers science-based programs including healthy lifestyles, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), environmental awareness and sustainability, natural resources, and garden-based learning.

This position works as part of CCE Albany's4-H team - recruiting and reaching diverse audiences, performing existing or new responsibilities which can change based on Association needs, new partnerships, grant initiatives, etc.

The Educator also performs 4-H data entry, enrollments, reporting, etc.

This position delivers programs throughout the urban, suburban, and rural communities of Albany County, with a strong emphasis on urban programming.

This position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and is paid at the rate of $23.61 per hour. Mileage for work related travel is reimbursed. Excellent benefits package includes health insurance, free dental Insurance, NYS Retirement (NYSLRS), and much more.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and experience relevant to the role of the position.

An Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
