Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet maintenance strategy that focuses on preventive maintenance
Maintenance Scheduling:
Oversee the development and execution of maintenance schedules for all vehicles, including routine inspections, repairs, and servicing.
Driver Scheduling:
Schedule drivers to ensure optimization of time and mileage as well as excellent customer service and response time.
Driver Support:
The Fleet Supervisor is expected to be in the field supporting the drivers and assisting with customer needs when not performing specific fleet maintenance duties
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain relationships with maintenance vendors
Budget Management:
Manage the department budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and safety
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT (Department of Transportation) and company policies, to maintain safe and compliant operations.
