    JOB TITLE: Accounting Manager


    DEPARTMENT: Finance Department


    REPORTS TO: Assistant Controller, Controller, Ownership


    ABOUT THE POSITION

    As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Controller and Assistant Controller in maintaining internal controls over hotel operations. Your role will involve ensuring timely completion of accounting reports and forecasts.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare and coordinate monthly forecasts and quarterly reforecasts for owners.
    • Participate in financial statement reviews and general ledger classifications.
    • Aid in monthly forecasting and preparation of financial reports and analysis.
    • Handle bank account administration, including reconciliations and treasury reports.
    • Oversee cash handling operations, credit card deposits, and inventory calculations.
    • Review and verify Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
    • Provide guidance and training to operational teams on financial reports and controls.

    SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

    In addition to the core responsibilities, you may be required to perform additional financial data analysis or projects as assigned.


    REQUIREMENTS

    • M3 experience
    • Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and excellent communication skills.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Must have strong communication skills and be proficient in computer accounting programs.
    • Capable of preparing and analyzing data, multitasking, and problem-solving.
    • Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 15 lbs, and operate office equipment.

    The company operates 24/7, and your work hours may vary based on business demand, including weekends if necessary.
